What's the Problem With Affect Theory?

I don't think the way to explain racism is that it's about people's personal attitudes and that you have to understand the racism. Like, once you go down that road, I think you've already cut off the potential of being critical. That's why I say that what really cuts me is the theory that themselves are espousing immediacy because it's the possibility of theory that's at stake. You can't write a character piece.
