The Chinese Regime's Repression Strategy Has Changed With Social Media, Right?
In the early part, of course, there was some kind of tolerance for certain types of grievances. But as social media became more and more a part of daily life, the regime started to realize that these threats were not necessarily the hugest problem for us. And i think that's why we see a lot of a money and effort being spent on surveillance, and a lot of effort being a focused on social media.
