How to Make Ethanol From CO2
There are different pathways that are imagined in our field to turn CO2 into something useful. Some of the most interesting compounds are those that have carbon-carbon bonds. So if you can take CO2 and create more complex molecules, for example, hydrocarbons, so then we could make fuels like gasoline from CO2 and hydrogen. It's almost like recycling the fuels. Exactly. Although it's not the best way we have in order to reduce the amount of green or CO2 that we put into the atmosphere, but it's a way to go.
