Bem: "I don't know of something that looks like a wireless transmitter in the brain, but I'm not a neurologist" The ultimate test was whether there would be a higher than chance, guess rate or correct guess rate in the sample. By chance, we would expect 50% correct guesses in the original study, Bem reported 53%. It was not a huge effect by any means, and I think it's quite on the verge of breaking even in a casino in roulette, for example.
