The Relationship Between Beauty and Imagination and the Embodiment of Consciousness

Heidegger said that beauty occurs when freedom comes to appearance in and through natural form. And for a Heidegger, the tension generated by the human work to transform a thing of nature simultaneously aids and resist that effort. But what we find in all of this is an interplay between freedom and nature in which the natural reality provides an anchor and a guide for freedom,. even as it is being transcended, elevated, enhanced, transformed, creatively interpreted.
