Did the Moon Lose Its Second Atmosphere?

The Moon is not just like a lifeless inert frozen rock. It had volcanoes. There are lava planes underneath the Moon. How long ago did the volcanic activity end? We don't know. Will it cool and stop Moon quaking at some point? Eventually, it probably will. Yeah, the same sort of thing is happening on Mars.
