How Do Sabbath and Solitude Complement One Another?
I want to press into that comment you made about Sabbath sort of being the key practice, maybe the keystone habit. In my experience, solitude is a briefer period of time each day. Solitude is by definition being with God and God alone. And for the pastor or the leader in particular, to be able to distinguish God's voice from all the other voices that are clamoring,. It's essential for any kind of real spiritual leadership.
