Mildred Harnock, Your Great Great Aunt
Mildred harnock was an American graduate student who became a leader of one of the largest underground resistance groups in germany during hitler's regime. She began holding meetings as early as 19 32 and this group then merged with at least three other underground resistance groups, tat pris, ritmeister frisd, gegnoris. In 19 forty they intersected with a soviet espionage network and subsequently became known as the rote capella, or the red orchestra. But it's important to note that, again, this group had been around since actually before hitler was chancellor.
