The idea that we're going to solve free speech issues by having just the right billionaire get into power is illustrative of a country h has lost the sense of democracy. The very fact that we were debating publicly about which oligarch should control the defacto public square so we can have freedom of speech, that already is a bad, bad sign for democracy. And when someone just has an add campaign, or potentially a publicity stunt, and they paint themselves as this free speech warrior who's going to step in and save the day, it's not really a simple that.
