The Importance of Housing First in the Policy Response to the AIDS Epidemic
Housing first is an idea that has been around for a number of years but it's rarely implemented as effectively as Houston has. Amanda in Minneapolis says she was surprised by how often people would misjudge what a homeless person was or what they looked like and also going to get assistance and getting resources. Michael: I'm familiar with this idea from way back in the days of early in the AIDS epidemic but talk about this housing first idea in the policy response.
