Saul Says, Am I Not a Benjamite?
In verse 20, samuel says to saul, and on whom is all the desire of israel? Is it not on thee and on all thy father's house? Like you're the man, you're the one that's going to be leading israel. Saul responds, am, i not a benjamite of the smallest of the tribes of israel, and my family the least of all the families of the tribe of jamin. Wherefore then speakest thou? So to me, this is the same sense of inadequacy that moses felt when called,. That enoch felt when called, that gideon felt when called...this is overwhelming.
