The Importance of Grief in the First Weeks, Months and Years Following a Miscarriage
Every woman who miscarrys is a unique individual. So when you say what will it look like and we'll look very different for lots of people, but there are some commonalities or things that I think it's helpful to explore. In the first days following miscarriage, usually there's shock. And then there's weakness from blood loss. Sometimes there's complications from having to have an operation. If you have to have a DMC because of a miscarriage where the body doesn't fully shed all of what they call the products of conception, which is just beyond the baby. There are other things that have to come out medically to avoid infection.
