Luther: God has revealed himself to be supremely fatherly and inexpressively gracious. There's a God he could love for the first time. And what Luther found was not only does knowing that give great assurance and joy, knowing that God is like that actually wins our hearts to him. LZ: I fear that in Christians simply talking about God, when atheists are saying, I don't want this single person God,. If Christians simply reply by saying, but this God really is true, I think they're hearing but the devil is real.
