Stable blue chip companies often tend to be the largest. They've proven their longgevity, and yet they don't see a lot of volatility in their stock price. We've seen very large companies such as a apple and microsop do very, very well for long periods of time. But like anything, we live in a capitalist society, and nothing is forever. It's really about the long term direction of the business that the stock will ultimately follow.
