The Origins of Cuniform Tablets in Mesopotamia

The emergence of cuniform is attributed to the sumerians from the 30 first century b c e. It originally started out as a set of pictograms, which were inscribed on to a clay tablet using the stem of a reed. The next time we visit mesopotamia will be to investigate its ancient cultures. We have set up an extremely important ancient theatre in mesopotamia. Next week we tackle the other obvious one, and that is the nile valley, which in turn will become ancient egypt.
