Is It a Coincident?

If the w had a charge of 1.2, then it couldn't decay to an electron and a neutrino because charge is conserved. And so basically it wouldn't participate in anything that we knew about. The fact that the w has the same charge as the electron is what allows it to participate in our part of the universe. So it might be that there are particles out there with weird charges that don't interact in the same way as our particles.
