The Occipital Lobe Is Where Our Primary Visual Field Is
So we've gone through the frontal lobe, the farieta lobe and the temporal lobe. And naturally, we'll finish it off with the occipital lobe. This is where our primary visual cortex is. Then just adjacent to those are our visual association areas. These visual association areas kind divide into two pathways, or two streams. The ventral pathway tells us information about how to make sense of what we're seeing. It can lead to things like a chromotopsia, you know, the difficulty to perceive colors.
