The Iron Maiden - The Story of Johan Philip
The first written record of what we now know as the iron maiden comes from this guy writing about a thing he heard that happened in nuremberg. But there's no contemporary or physical evidence of this, right? So if this happened, it's very sad. But i'm not convinced. A lot of historians think that it's possible johan philip just made it up cause it was interesting, or he heard about it, or he was quoting. There's an entry in the oxford english dictionary from another guy, traveling through germany, bohemia, switzerland and italy,. but i also haven't found that source translated. And so it's hard for me
