The Story of Rita Crundwell
Rita Crundwell was born on a farm outside of Dixon, Illinois in 1953. She won first place at the Indiana State Quarter Horse Championship and another one in Texas when she was 35. The town is also famous for being where Abraham Lincoln volunteered for the Illinois militia to fight in the Black Hawk War.
