Kubernetes Service Mesh

Kubernetes generally is obviously a big increasingly big topic and the observability and interoperability interviews that keep having. Was Linked E just a first thing to call itself a service mesh or were there other alternatives that kind of did the same thing at the same time? No not really so you know we actually went through this kind of difficult process where we had to come up with a name for it because what we were building was something that was pretty unique.
