The first three chapters of the book are sketches of personalities that I knew, people that were a big part of my family's life. It was excerpted in Bond magazine and my parents had a copy of it. And I read it when I was living in San Francisco before I kind of had figured out what to do with my life. Then how I became one of the invisible was meaningful to me partly because the first three chapters  are sketches of personalitiesthat I knew,.
