Your dad talked about the amount of time that he spent reading what he read, and that his goal was to learn in a capacity that would allow him to pass that information on. So if i'm taken in with the idea this is something i moing to impart to others, whether it's my family at the dinner table to night, or whether it's to my employees, or to my employer, to my co workers, or to into a book or a presentation,. whatever it may be, i'm really going to be careful about what i am taking in. Active reading, active listening, take notes and then at the end, have paid attention enough, taken in pro actively enough comprehend
