Do Queer People Understand That Same Sex Love Is Part of Friendship?
Before 18 67, it was taboo to have sex with some one of the same sex or gender. But you could still sleep in the same bed with them and write them love letters. In doing so, they created the concept of sexual orientation as we know it. So home phoby has broke friendship for all of us, and men in particular. And i think also, like one thing i talk about in the book, it's like our friendships were really ruined by homophobia.
