Is Collaboration a Problem in Two Player Poker?

In Six Player Poker, it's a similar dynamic where because the game is so adversarial, there's really no room for collaboration. But that's why I like looking at a game like Diplomacy because in diplomacy, you have to choose who you collaborate with. And if the bot is playing in a very bot-like, inhuman style, then the other players are going to choose to cooperate with each other instead of the bot and team up against the bot.
