What's really going on phenomenologically in that moment right before the click? None of your conscious choices are conscious choices. You're the last to know why you're doing the thing you're about to do and you're very often misinformed about it. We can set up experiments where you'll reliably do the thing for reasons that you, when you're forced to articulate them, are completely wrong about.
