They eat necrotic tissue. They like it as it's starting to go bad because their enzymes that they stick creak can actually break down that necrotic environment and they slurp that up. After four days, they're done feeding. And so we say take them off of the wound. So then they're going to get to about 14 to 15 millimeters. These things almost look cute. Those things do not. It can be quite a shock if you've never seen it before when you open that wound and you see them start to grow. The way that they feed is called extra corporeal digestion.
