Red: I think so many people make the mistake of assuming that they can pay attention to multiple things at once. Humans are serial processes. We can only focus on one thing at a time. And i think about mindfulnesss as basically concentrating on whatever that activity is that gives you a sense of mastery. Without that concentration, you don't get to mastery, and you also don't really get into flow.
