The Fratricidal Motif

In the freudian world of psycho pathology, it's all inside the family. The idea that brothers can be at each other's throats is a very powerful idea. If there was no hope except for the good guys, almost all of us would be lost. And so unless you're not capable of manifesting some positive relationship with your being, then how could anything he do be useful or worth doing? I think that's real, really realistic.
