Trans People, We Don't Need Allies, We Need Complices

To be an ally, you have to leverage your privilege by not being a member of that community to protect people in that community. You can be tolerant, but not an ally and that's sort of where the old saying comes from: We don't need allies, we need accomplices. With the current legislative push against transpeople, i mean, like, literally, what i do is like a felony in three states now, or almost a felony in 3 states. And it's just so unbelievably depressing. Aabsolutely because things are, things are happening, and they're going to keep happening.
