There are many who feel Boris Johnson fundamentally lied about Brexit in 2019. He said there was an oven ready deal, which clearly didn't exist. Many people will take back his interventions now to that moment and say why on earth is he getting involved in negotiations again when he lied about it the first time? There's another side to the story, and I want to make sure that, you know, people have perhaps a perspective they would deny. And I wish Rishi Sunak all the very best in resolving that one last little bit into a messy compromise.
