How we feel physically or emotionally is coming from what you're focusing on, exactly. When people get anxiety, there's so focused on the fact that they're anxious, they can't get out of it. And then they're back to focusing on managing what they're not even aware of. So, and especially when it comes to things like a pounding heart, you know, when you get so anxious that you actually are affecting your heart beat and your breathingno, ya, oh, i used to think there was somebody in my house all the time, and my heart would literally feel like it was coming out of my body. Then i'd realize it was my mind making things up.
