David Frum: How did we get to the point that we are, which seems like it's been so very rapid? He says two factors are really coming to play, and they build on each other. The big sort is how Americans were already sorting into like-minded communities by early 2000s. Frum: This is not evenly distributed across America; it's highly concentrated amongst college educated white Americans.
