The Green Party in Germany - A Strange Twist of History
In germany, the greens started out at an extension of the peace movement. They were seenas like the outsides of the west german political establishment. Yoshka fisher was one of the first m ps to be elected and famously wore trainers. He made a monumental decision to send german troops to uguslavia in the early seventies. And i think what we've seen ever since with the greens is their transforming by getting closer to the centres of power.
