Latidock has been ahead of the standard panel as far as performance, transparency and floating effects. Latid also lets you change panel layouts when you change activities. It's a real shame that development has stopped, hopefully someone will continue the project. Joe mentioned he couldn't fathom the fascination with Docs. I still don't quite get it. But people who love them, they really fucking love them.
