Fed Watching - Is There a Liquidity Crisis?
The likelihood is increasing that an international liquidity crisis will emerge before the Fed Succeeds at stamping out price growth ie inflation. The Federal Reserve has been raising interest rates, you know pretty fast fastest increase that we've got on record um Certainly a huge change from last 15 years and So far the response in the u.e. U. S. economic system US GDP US prices has been minimal they say a couple of highly interest sensitive sectors have responded. Before the most part there's been no decline in US activity after that meeting just earlier this week We saw we saw third quarter GDP US GDP at plus 2.8 percent higher than expected and And September inflation was still very high over 8
