The View of Art by Schopenhauer
Schopenhauer's view of art is contained within nita's later idea of the apollinian, and i think that's why he had to invent the dionycian as a counterbalance. Most meditative activities involve fixing the mind on a single discernible object on which the awareness is totally focused. A an accomm experience that meditators report when doing a mentra meditation, where they repeat the same montra over and over again, is that eventually the words lose all meaning. He uses the metaphor of being a clear mirror that simply reflects the perception of the object.
