Deo and the Illyrians

This is the Romans' first venture into this area. Do they get any sort of encounters or resistance at all? So as they make their way through there, in the beginning the native simply abandon their villages. And when that starts happening, Octavian starts looting and burning. Eventually they end up at Scegesta, which is the capital of the area. It's actually located on a river side. We're told that there were a number of naval battles that took place between the natives and the Romans at this point. This mustn't go down well in Croatia these days.
