Is Public Speaking the Worst Thing?

i was just as nervous and awkward and terrified in high school and college presentations as everyone else is. I've had questions from audience members that i not only couldn't answer, but questions that i should have been able to answer. That's just kind of par for the course when you are vulnerable enough to be in front of people and share your knowledge or lack thereof with people.
