The Unifying Function of Anti-Wokism
The idea that after the Cold War, it was time to go back to the America of the past remained very strong. These are also people who say we should cut off Ukraine and spend all of our money fighting China. The idea that the Chinese Communist Party represents a threat as significant as the Soviet Union did to America is just coming into formation. So that's why I think anti-wokism serves a more unifying function than even anti CCP sentiment at this point.
