Getting Everything Right With Retrieval Practice
Re readers were actually more confident on their test score than the retriever practice group. And i think that just goes to show that, you know, sometimes our intuitions about what's working well for us are not always very accurate. If you're skeptical about the whole idea of retrieval practice, what i would say is just take an upcoming test properly. Try it, give it a really good go and you might not feel the difference.
