The Polygamy of Judean Kings
Joash, also called Johuash, the Hohash, ascended the throne of Judah in 832 BC at the tender age of seven. He would reign for thirty years. In chronicles it is a national movement and mass uprising, reminiscent of David's accession. To me this sounds like a coup launched by the priestly establishment who bitterly opposed the religious pluralism of the cursed Israelite Atholiah.
