The CBO's Forecasts Are Rosy
The Congressional Budget Office's purpose is to produce forecasts of federal revenues and spending. The OMB, the Office of Management and Budget, also produces estimates like this. But as you might imagine, OMB's forecasts tend to be much rosier than CBO's forecasts. We're going to be talking about the guy who has the less rosy forecasts.
