The Role of Organomic Integration in Behavior

Another theory that you talk about in the book is organismic integration theory and supposedly that would help us understand how people can perform behaviors they would usually don't like. There's research that shows that we have a sort of natural propensity to integrate our behavior into our sense of self so that we don't feel controlled and coerced anymore. So there had been a process of internalization or organismic integration you could call it also where those children in maturing learned to take ownership of this activity.
