The Doctrine of God Is a Hermeneutic

One of the things that hearing you talk about just the way that all of the issues, the different divergent strands of scholarship that child brings together for a reader of his work reminds me of his reluctance to call what he's doing canonical criticism but rather a canonical approach. In fact in that essay I mentioned earlier which I now remember the thought of it's called the doctrine of God is a hermeneutic and I think what allows child's to do that is his understanding of God. So yeah I go into that a good bit in that other essay.
