The Evolution of Genes

According to the modern synthesis, evolution is primarily driven by a natural selection of different alleles. What people have realized is that there's lots of other things that offspring inherit from their parents. And then there's the broad sense in which people mean epigenetics. This has been articulated by Mary Jane West-Abraham and her book mid-2000s.
