Do You Have a Dh D?

There are two interesting posts here that i want to bring up. One person is in his fifties, and he's been recently diagnosed with d h d. He's extremely hesitant to mention it to his children. And similarly, there's a mam on line whose husband does not want their eih d h child to know that he himself, father, has a dh d. So both, in both those cases, there's concern about acknowledging ad h d. What are your thoughts on that? I'm guessing its shame related. It might have been the way a d h d was handled ray that person growing upi i am not ashamed of having a d hd.
