"i had been begging my boss for over a year to go to bagdad, and then finally i was sent because nobody else wanted to go," she says. "For me, it was the thrill of feeling like i was finally in a war zone." Clarisa felt that we were failing as the media in terms of telling their stories due to security situation,. It just meant that so much of the story became about the us. Military, because that was the only way to get out.
