Late Bloomers in Higher Education

This chapter challenges the common perception that college students are in their early 20s by discussing the concept of late bloomers in higher education. It explores the implications of this finding, highlighting the higher returns to college education, particularly for marginalized groups. The chapter also raises the question of providing better support for older adults in universities and the need to highlight and support this population more in society.
