Lucius septimius saverus was born in one forty five. His father was a native, though thoroughly romanized, african of equestrian rank. It was quite a feat for an obscure, half punic, half roman equite from libya. i don't think i'm giving anything away when I say that he will successfully out manoeuvre his rivals and found a new imperial dynasty
