Keir Stammer and Tony Blair on the Future of Public Services

Stama insists he were more than match Blair for radical ideas on overhauling public services. He says this does not mean a further expansion of the private sector's role as happened under Blair's new labour. The health reforms under Blair were partly about bringing in the private sector in different ways to bring in a degree, or greater degree of internal competition. It became incredibly complex and expensive actually. Stama: "I think we can go beyond what the Blair government did on public services"
